Welcome,
I am an emerging urban planner with a background in marketing and communications and over five years of experience coordinating projects in the private and public sectors. My fascination with cities, architecture, and the power of the built environment to influence behaviour, health, and community connection has inspired me to pursue urban planning.
I recently completed my Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning at Queen’s University, where I conducted research with the Population and Place Lab. My work explored how playful urban spaces can support social connection among older immigrants and how these insights can inform age-friendly policy and planning frameworks.
My experience working with the City of Ottawa and the territory of Nunavut has deepened my understanding of development approvals, Committee of Adjustment processes, zoning amendments, policy review, and stakeholder and Indigenous engagement.
I bring skills in project management, research, and visual communication, and I aim to apply these strengths to the planning field as I continue to grow and contribute to more inclusive and environmentally conscious communities.
Outside of work and study, I enjoy travelling, photography, and painting!
